Faith and Work

Preparing Faith-equipped Workers to Transform the Workplace

You can join a community of believers who work toward the same goal: living out your faith in the workplace. Faith and Work helps you apply the truth of God’s Word to the vocation where God has called you.  Attend monthly lectures or take certificate courses that will equip you to bring your faith into your workplace. Learn to engage your theology of work in your community and the marketplace. Train others to do the same. You will engage your faith and gain spiritual enrichment, as you transform the world for Christ.

About

The Faith, Work, and Economics Initiative was launched by Moody Theological Seminary in 2013 through a grant by the Kern Family Foundation. The initiative included, among other events, a lecture series that brings together pastors, ministry leaders, students, faculty, and men and women working in any vocation to learn various aspects pertaining to the integration of faith and work. Further, through educational programs, including courses launched since August 2015, interested men and women can be equipped in actionable skills for the workplace and beyond.

"Christ's call on His followers is to a whole life of twenty-four seven discipleship. Therefore, the integration of faith and work is of paramount significance and must bridge the divide often seen in the church between worship and ministry on Sunday and work in the various vocations from Monday through Saturday."

– Dr. Sajan Mathews, program director for the Faith, Work, and Economics Initiative
