Ed’s passion is helping leaders and the churches understand and resolve conflict. His desire is to increase the health and stability in churches, increase the personal contentment and peace of those who serve and assist them to more effectively fulfill their mission. Ed has been leading churches for over 30 years.
Further, Ed’s passion is to see churches be their very best. Recognizing the widespread experience of destructive conflict, Ed entered the School of Professional Studies at Marquette University and received a Master’s degree in Dispute Resolution (MDR). His specialty is multi-party and multi-issue church mediation. Ed is a neutral third party who listens, facilitates, trains, and coaches through conflict.
In addition to serving as a mediator in church conflict, Ed conducts a mastering conflict workshop entitled, Turning Conflict Into An Asset Instead of a Threat. Church Mediators provide conflict coaching, mediation and leadership training. Ed has a unique blend of care and experience combined with hopefulness, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile.
