    Riley's research articulates a doctrine of adoption in the theology of John Calvin with an emphasis on Christological anthropology. Other interests include the relationship between theology and exegesis, church history, and the philosophy of Søren Kierkegaard. She has been a member of Immanuel Anglican Church in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago since 2017.
