  Dr. Rieske spent several years in campus ministry with Cru and in various leadership positions in the local church. Being half Romanian, she was also privileged to do missions work in Romania. In addition to raising and discipling her four children, she is currently active teaching and speaking at her home church and others throughout the Chicago area.

• Professional / Personal Interests:

  Professionally, her research interests include Jesus and the Gospels, Second Temple Jewish literature, the use of the Old Testament in the New, biblical theology, ethics, the Fatherhood of God, filial themes in Scripture, and the integration of science and theology.

  In her free time, she can be found curled up with a book and a cup of tea, making smores over a campfire, kayaking an Ohio river, shooting pics with her Canon SLR, playing fetch with her spirited chocolate Lab, and doing nothing with her lazy orange and white cat.
