Master of Arts in Biblical Spiritual Formation and Discipleship

In the Master of Arts in Biblical Spiritual Formation and Discipleship degree, you will solidify your relationship with God and His Word so you may help others grow in their relationship with Christ. Gain a biblical foundation and learn how to apply it directly to ministry practices.

Come on campus to Chicago or Plymouth, Michigan, where you’ll study in a classroom setting. Classes include topics such as spiritual warfare, prayer, the family, discipleship, the theology of soul care and practical sanctification. Learning outside of the classroom includes spiritual formation labs, internships, chapel, retreats and ministry opportunities.

Faculty

Learn from faculty mentors such as Prof. William Thrasher and Assist. Prof. Eric Moore. Dr. Thrasher has written nine books and hundreds of articles in numerous Christian journals. He is a former pastor and frequently speaks at conferences and retreats. Dr. Moore, a specialist in pastoral studies, is the pastor of Tree of Life Bible Fellowship Church in Southfield, Mich.
